Equipment/Studio Self-Booking in the Library Catalog: Reserving Studios

Reserve studios the same way as you reserve equipment. Please ensure that you enter "Audio Studio" or "Video and Photography Studio" in the search box. Alternatively, here is a quick link for reserving Audio Studio, here is a quick link for reserving Video Studio.

DMC has the following items reserved for use in the Video/Photography Studio. You don't need to make reservations to use them. 

• a Canon G50/G70 UHD 4K Camcorder

• a Rode Microphone VideoMic Pro Shotgun Microphone

• a Zoom H4N audio recorder 

If you are not providing your own equipment, please reserve what you need. The following items are recommended:

• For photography, reserve any of the following cameras
  • Nikon mirrorless Z5
  • Nikon DSLR 610
  • Nikon D3300
  • Browse the Nikon lens and reserve the one you need. 
  • A tripod is necessary too
• For video interviews, reserve 

  • Canon XA40 4K Professional Camcorder, or Canon G50/G70 UHD 4K Camcorder and Rode Microphone VideoMic Pro Shotgun Microphone if Canon XA40 is not available. 

  • Zoom H4N audio recorder as an audio backup.

  • A tripod is necessary too
