IDP is a collaboration of libraries and museums to make available online the images and information of manuscripts, paintings, textiles and artefacts from Dunhuang and the Eastern Silk Road.

This bilingual English-Japanese site maintained by the National Institute of Informatics is a valuable portal to a host of online resources, among them the Digital Archive of Toyo Bunko Rare Books, Database for Buddhist Temples in China, and Silk Road maps and photographs.
The Getty has completed a number of preservation projects at Dunhuang, including Wall Paintings Conservation at Mogao Grottoes and Site Conservation at the Mogao and Yungang Grottoes.
