Economic Indicators
Author: Council of Economic Indicators, Joint Economic Committee, United States Congress
About:
Economic Indicators provides economic information on gross domestic product, income and spending, employment, unemployment and wages, production, business activity, prices, money, credit, security markets, Federal finance, and international financial statistics. The information is published for each member of Congress, the Joint Economic Committee, relevant libraries, and the public. These monthly reports of principal economic indicators are based on releases from the United States Bureau of Economic Analysis and the Census Bureau. It is published by the Superintendent of Documents of the Government Printing Office (GPO).
Economic Indicators issues from 1948 (the first issue) to 1995 are made available through FRASER, the Federal Reserve Archival System for Economic Research. FRASER is provided through a partnership between GPO and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. FRASER is not an official version of Economic Indicators, and GPO cannot guarantee the authenticity or completeness of the data.
