This database is "a centralized means for discovery and access to an unparalleled breadth of Chinese resources, including scholarly journals, monographs, statistical publications, government documents, newspapers, dissertations, patents, and more (East View)." This database replaces Rice's subscription to CNKI--it includes the same content as well as additional material.

This integrated database includes over a thousand Korean scholarly journals with more than 890,000 full-text articles. There are also over 55,000 items exported from the Korea Knowledge Portal. This subscription was made possible by funds from the Korea Foundation and the Chao Center for Asian Studies at Rice University.
The Korean language database covers 600 publications in such fields as literature, economics, business, theology, law, administration, arts, engineering and natural sciences. It is a primary source reference database divided into ten topics and one hundred forty subcategories and includes special dictionaries, archival and historical resources, biographical sources, and other reference materials related to Korean history, literature, civilization and medicine.

The Tsing Hua Journal of Chinese Studies is a scholarly journal sponsored by Taiwan's National Tsing Hua University. Full-text articles on Chinese literature, history, philosophy, linguistics, religions, and anthropology are available beginning vol.35 no.2 (2005).
