Adobe Premiere Pro Generative AI Tools: Home

As part of Adobe Firefly, Adobe has begun integrating generative AI tools within their constituent programs. One such recent edition, currently in the beta version of Adobe Premiere Pro 2025, is automatic caption translation. The video below demonstrates the ease with which one can transcribe, generate captions, and translate captions from the Captions workspace in Premiere Pro.

Generative Extend is a tool designed to create additional frames for your existing clips, extending them beyond their original duration. It only functions currently with 1280x720 or 1920x1080 resolutions. It lets you add up to 2 seconds to video clips. Notably it seems to struggle with motion, either by the camera or the subject.
