The Houston Folk Music Archive strives to preserve Houston’s local folk scene from the 1960s - 1980s. These collections document the people, places, and music that made Houston a destination for those honing their craft.
In the archive, you can find archival collections, as well as rare books, films, oral histories, and online exhibits.
These collections are housed in the Woodson Research Center, Fondren Library's home for rare and unique materials.
Woodson Research Center's hours:
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Location:
1st floor of the Fondren Library, just inside the West entrance (the Brochstein Pavilion side)
