Celebrate Constitution Day, September 17
In 2005 Senator Robert Byrd sponsored legislation that required educational institutions that receive Federal funds to hold an annual educational program about the U.S. Constitution for its students. Since then Rice has participated with displays and various programing. Every year since 2005, the Kelley Center for Government Information, Data and Geospatial Services has participated in various events and activities during the week surrounding Constitution Day.
