Article Galaxy Scholar (AGS), is a service that Rice University patrons can use to request journal articles that are not available via Interlibrary Loan or that are needed when ILL is not available (weekends, evenings, overnights and holidays.) Articles are received quickly via email and AGS is available 24/7. Patrons must use their Rice University email for article delivery.
Which journals can I request through AGS?
Please see the box "Journal Titles in AGS" on the home tab for further information.
When can I expect my journal article?
Articles will be delivered in real time via email, generally in less than 15 minutes.
How long do I have access to my AGS article?
Patrons have 30 days to access their articles from AGS. Articles may only be downloaded once, so remember to download your article for future use!
How many articles may I order from AGS?
Rice University patrons may request up to 50 articles from AGS. Once a patron reaches their limit, they will be referred back to Interlibrary Loan for additional requests.
