To use One Search to find resources on Women's Studies you can do a general keyword search.
However to make your search your targeted, you can use the Advanced Search feature and input specific terms or phrases under "Subject." Examples include such phrases as
You can also combine terms under "Subject." For example, you can start with the term "women" and then add to it, depending on what you are interested in.
Then you can add a geographic area to refine your search
You can continue to add terms to the phrase
You can limit the number of resources you receive by date, by where the item is (online, in the regular stacks, in government documents, with the DVDs, etc.), or by what type of material you want (book, article, video, book chapter, etc.)
When you find a resource you like, look at its "Subjects" to find more or better search terms. You may use these same terms in the databases listed on the right.
