The library holds many films relevant to literary studies, including:
DVDs are shelved on the first floor in the South Reading Room, and VHS tapes are shelved next to the reference and atlas collection on the first floor, north side. Either can be checked out or viewed in the library, and many come with public performance rights (for uses outside private viewing or the classroom). Rights are noted in the catalog record.
The library also has extensive streaming video databases, which can be an amazing resource for educational, documentary, foreign and artistic cinema.
