The collections includes a series of scrapbooks of the activities of Rice students and a series of scrapbooks from Rice University departments, Rice-related events, sports, and other materials related to the life of the university.
This collection consists of materials related to the Rice Owl Band, Jazz Ensemble, Rice Symphonic Band, and Marching Owl Band (MOB). This includes annual reports, correspondence, financial information, handbooks, newsletters, scripts, newsclippings, performances, photographs, recordings, memorabilia, and uniforms.
The collection represents the history of Beer-Bike, the race rules, resolution, reports, newsclippings, realia, and financial lists as well as some programs.
Audio recordings and administrative files reflecting the daily business of the KTRU Radio station at Rice University. Recordings include newscasts, interviews with rock, jazz and classical musicians, Rice Presidents’ State of the University speeches and recorded live music. Administrative records include radio directors’ meeting minutes, “Gripes and Groans” books from the DJ booth, programming notes, election forms, DJ handbook, licensing information, and correspondence.
