Finding Articles

Use indexes to find references to research articles and to other materials such as books, book chapters, dissertations, etc.

In some cases, links to the full text are provided. When links are not available, use the Journal Portal to find access points for journals. The Journal Portal will also provide holdings information for print and microfilm formats.

GeoRef contains over 3 million references to geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports and theses. ProQuest Deep Indexing: Earth Sciences supplements GeoRef with access to millions of indexed charts, figures, graphs, maps, photographs, and tables from the scholarly research and technical literature. GeoRef covers North America since 1785 and other areas since 1933; corresponds to the publications: Bibliography of North American Geology, Bibliography and Index of Geology Exclusive of North America, Geophysical Abstracts, and Bibliography and Index of Geology.
