Small, elegant, prayer book commissioned by Charles the Bold in the 15th century contains 159 folios with 47 color miniatures which is the work of Flemish painter Lievin van Lathem and scribe Nicolas Spierinck. This work of Burgundian illumination originated in several stages in Flanders between 1469 and 1490.
