Book of hours (Ms. Très belles heures de Nôtre-Dame)   Das Turin-Mailänder Stundenbuch = Les heures de Turin-Milan = The Turin-Milan hours.  Luzern : Faksimile Verlag, [1994-1996].  126 leaves: 30 cm + commentary volume (703 pages: illustrations (some color) ; 30 cm) Full-color facsimile of part of ms. executed in France ca. 1385-1390 for Jean, Duc de Berry. This portion is located at the Museo civico d'arte antica à Turin.  The illuminations were by several hands executed between 1380 and 1420; the Master of the Parement de Narbonne and his aides (1380-1390); the school of the Limbourg brothers (1412-1420); the Van Eycks and those of their atelier (1415-1417). [1] Faksimileband -- [2] Kommentar /Anne H. van B uren, James H. Ms. 37, the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles.  Commentary by Antoine de Schryver, with a foreword by Thomas Kren.  Small, elegant, prayer book commissioned by Charles the Bold in the 15th century contains 159 folios with 47 color miniatures which is the work of Flemish painter Lievin van Lathem and scribe Nicolas Spierinck.  This work of Burgundian illumination originated in several stages in Flanders between 1469 and 1490.
