When you create a Garageband project, it will prompt you to create a new track. Each track requires an input. In the Audio Studio, each microphone is labeled with a number, and those numbers correspond to inputs 1 through 4 in Garageband. Create a track for each microphone you want to record with, setting the input to the appropriate number.
You should have a separate track for each input, in this case one for input 1 and one for input 2.
Up at the top, go to the Track menu and select Configure Track Header...
A new pop-up menu will appear by your tracks. In this new menu, check the box next to Record Enable.
Once you activate Record Enable, you will see dots appear in the track header next to the headphone symbol. Click these new dots for every track you would like to record in simultaneously.
The dots will blink red in every track header that you have clicked on, and when you press the record button in your Garageband project, they will stop blinking and stay red. At this point Garageband will record from each microphone into a separate track simultaneously.
