The Arthur Jones Architectural Records contain information and pictures of projects Jones was involved with in his career with Houston-based Lloyd and Morgan, Lloyd, Jones, and Brewer, and Jones and Fillpot.Jones' projects with the firms, which were primarily but not only in Houston, include the Astrodome, the Allen Centers, the Melrose building, and various buildings in Greenway Plaza, the University of Houston, and Rice University.

Charles Tapley architectural collection, 1960-2007, MS 523
This collection reflects the architectural career of Houston based architect Charles Tapley. Materials include articles written by Tapley, and project-related drawings, notes, and correspondence. Tapley has designed many signature landmarks in the Houston area, such as Tranquility Park, the Contemporary Art Museum, a courtyard landscape at the Museum of Fine Arts, Buffalo Bayou parks and improvements, the Camp Allen Retreat, various churches, residences, as well as playgrounds and parks for the Texas Medical Center.
Lars Lerup Academic and Professional papers, 1965-2016, MS 830
These papers consist of the academic and professional papers of Lars Lerup the former Dean of the Rice School of Architecture, 1993-2009. Throughout his career, Lerup's research and professional work has focused on furniture, single-family homes, and post-structuralist theory in relation to cityscapes and suburbs, more specifically Houston.
Ralph Anderson, Jr. Papers, 1860 -1989, MS 413
Anderson was a registered architect in Texas, Indiana, Louisiana, the District of Columbia, Missouri, Kansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Ohio, and designed both family residences and commercial buildings. The World Trade Center in Houston, the Astrodome, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, the Houston Post Building, the Harris Court House Addition, and the Alice Pratt Brown Fine Arts Library at Rice University were among his many designs.

Jesse H. Jones Corporate and Property records, 1836-2008, MS 621
This collection comprises the corporate and property records of Jesse H. Jones, as well as research materials for Unprecedented Power by Steven Fenberg. Between 1992 and 1995, Mr. Fenberg and architecual histoian Barrie Scardino processed and organized the collection at the behest of Houston Endowment. After their transfer to Rice Univeristy some adjusments were made to the organization and nomenclature, but most of the structure they imposed remains intact. Significant areas covered in the records include Jone's many business ventures and property developments throughout the 20th century.
