Philately is the collection and study of postage and imprinted stamps, also known as stamp collecting. It also includes the study of postal history and any other aspect related to philatelic material and research. A great wealth of philatelic information exists both in print and online, but this guide is intended to provide an introductory starting point with links to philatelic organizations and general resources.
