JSTOR provides online, fulltext access to over 300 core scholarly journals from date of inception to a “moving wall” of 2-5 years from present. The archived collection includes journals in humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The content is searchable by author, title and fulltext with limits by discipline, year and article type. (Note: pop-up blocking must be disabled.)
Finds e-journals by title, ISSN, or subject. This service identifies access to online, full-text versions of journals to which Fondren Library subscribes individually or for which Fondren has online access bia several different aggregated sources such as Academic Search Complete and JSTOR. E-Journal Portal identifies those databases (inclusive dates may vary) which provide access to individual online journals. It does not index the content of these journals. E-Journal Portal lists more online journals than the Fondren catalog because the Library does nhot catalog all of the online journals provided by the large aggregated databases. There are two exceptions: records for journals provided by JSTOR and Project MUSE are added to the Fondren catalog as they become available.
