Linking to Fondren Resources: EbscoHost databases

EbscoHost is the database platform for several of Fondren Library's databases, including Academic Search Complete, Humanities International, Womens Studies international, Historical Abstracts, Newspaper Source, and Business Source Complete.

If you locate an individual article in one of these databases to link, look for the field mid-record labelled "Persistent link to this record (Permalink):"  Copy and paste this URL to build your stable link.

If you wish to link to a browseable list of the journal itself, you can get to this list by:

• using the library's ejournal portal (EJP) to search for the journal.  Click on the link in the EJP to connect to the EbscoHost database, where you will be immediately placed on the browseable issue list
• if you have searched in an EbscoHost database, and find an article from the journal you want, click on the journal title from within the article citation and you will be taken to the journal record, complete with a browseable list of the issues

Once you are on the journal page, with issue list, look for the field mid-record labelled "Link to this publication:"  Copy and paste this URL to build your stable link.

Please note, that (unlike most of the other providers, Ebsco has embedded proxy information into the stable URL they provide.  You will not need to include the "proxy prefix" but can use this URL as given.
