Linking to Fondren Resources: LexisNexis databases

Lexis Nexis is the publishing platform for a number of databases, included Lexis Nexis Academic, Lexis Nexis Environmental, and a number of congressional databases containing congressional hearings, reports, and the Serial Set.  There is also a statistical index/fulltext collection available.

The Lexis Nexis congressional collection includes a "Durable-URL" field in each full-view record.  You may simply copy this entire URL and paste it into your document or Owlspace.

Lexis Nexis Statistical does not support direct linking.

Building a link to the main LexisNexis Academic database is complex but not impossible!

1. Find the article for which you want to create a link and click on the title to open the record.

    

2. Use the link icon to open a citation, then right-click on the citation to obtain the URL

Note the URL will include the Rice proxy information.
