Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation: Global Health Program - An organization which "harnesses advances in science and technology to save lives in poor countries.  We focus on the health problems that have a major impact in developing countries but get too little attention and funding. Where proven tools exist, we support sustainable ways to improve their delivery.  Where they don’t, we invest in research and development of new interventions, such as vaccines, drugs, and diagnostics".

Doctors Without Borders - International medical aid organization that serves over 70 countries "independently of any political, military, or religious agendas".

Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education and Research - An organization that focuses on improving global health through education.

Ipas - Works with women around the world for access to safe reproductive health care. 

Partners in Health - International aid organization that focuses on bringing healthcare and assistance to communities in need.

The Rockefeller Foundation - Focus is on improving healthcare, not just fighting disease, so that health can be maintained. There is also attention given to improving ecosystems and cities. 

World Health Organization - United Nations Agency focused on international public health.
