SEC Filings

A company's SEC filings can be a wealth of information, particularly the annual report (look at financials, President's Letter, Management Comments, footnotes), 10K (line of business, management comments) and proxy statement (executive information). The library receives annual reports and 10Ks in a variety of formats.

Basic company information for US and International public and some private companies.
Under Financials there is an SEC filings choice. The list goes back many years but only selected filings have links to the documents.
Mergent Online This link opens in a new window
Covers a select group of companies both US and international. Reports are updated when the companies file new SEC documents. Has up to 15 years of financial data which can be downloaded into Excel.
After pulling up company records, select the Reports tab for annual reports or Filings for other SEC filings. The documents are listed by date of issuance and go back to the mid-1990s.

Use Internet Explorer when accessing ThomsonOne.
Covers U.S. public companies. Once company record comes up, use pull down menu for "Filings" to get a list of the company's SEC filings.

Microfiche:

The Library has a collection of annual reports and 10Ks for the New York Stock Exchange companies from 1979-1995. They can be found in the Government Documents area in the basement of the Fondren Library.
