ARTstor Digital Library offers two million images from 280 collections to support teaching and research in nearly every topic imaginable, including anthropology, archaeology, architecture, art history, fashion & costume, literature, religion, theater, and world history. More than 100,000 images are added annually. All images are rights-cleared for educational use.
ARCHIVISION: Via ARTstor Rice has access to a portion of the Archvision database represented by 40,898 professional photographs of significant Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, 18th and 19th Century, Islamic, Modern, and Contemporary architecture, landscape architecture, archaeological sites, and urban planning. Architects and buildings may be searched using the search all ARTstor collections option, limiting the search by individual Archivision modules, or using the options provided by the Advanced Search screen. Each module may be browsed separately.
